This guided tour combines spiritual enrichment, ancient history, and breathtaking landscapes, giving you an in-depth experience of the early Christian world and the lands where St. Paul spread his message. From Thessaloniki to the Greek Islands, explore sacred sites, rich cultures, and historical treasures.

Your adventure begins with an overnight flight from Denver, USA to Thessaloniki, Greece, as you prepare to immerse yourself in the journey of a lifetime.

Arrive at Thessaloniki airport and meet your tour guide. If time allows, explore some of Thessaloniki’s historical sites before enjoying a traditional Greek dinner and spending the night in this vibrant city.

After breakfast, we travel to Philippi, where St. Paul delivered his first sermon in Europe and baptized Lydia, the first European Christian. Explore significant sites such as the Roman Forum, St. Paul’s prison, and the Baptistery of St. Lydia at the Zygaktis River.

In the afternoon, visit Kavala, the ancient Neapolis, where St. Paul and his companions arrived by sea. Explore the St. Nicholas Church, the Ottoman aqueduct, and the ancient port. Return to Thessaloniki for dinner and overnight stay.

Visit important sites in Thessaloniki, including St. Demetrius Church and the Arch of Galerius. Then, travel to Veria, where St. Paul preached to the Jewish community, and explore the Triptych Monument and a 19th-century synagogue.

Continue to Kalambaka for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, we visit the stunning Meteora Monasteries, perched on towering rock formations. Admire the intricate Byzantine art and breathtaking views as you explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Kalambaka for dinner and overnight stay.

Explore Delphi, once considered the center of the ancient world. Visit the Temple of Apollo and the Delphi Archaeological Museum, which houses the Gallio inscription, a key historical marker related to St. Paul’s travels. Dinner and overnight stay in Delphi.

After breakfast, visit Ancient Corinth, where St. Paul stayed and preached. See the Corinth Canal and the remains of the ancient city. In the afternoon, travel to Athens. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a few sights before checking into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

In Athens, begin with a visit to the Acropolis and Areopagus Hill, where St. Paul famously preached about the “Unknown God.” After lunch, enjoy free time exploring the bustling markets of Monastiraki and Plaka. Visit Syntagma Square, the Panathenaic Stadium, and return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Embark on a 3-night cruise to the Greek Islands and Turkey. Your first stop is Mykonos, the beautiful island famous for its whitewashed buildings and charming streets. Enjoy free time to explore this picturesque paradise.

In Kusadasi, visit the House of the Virgin Mary on Mount Koressos, where Mary is believed to have lived her final years. Continue to Ephesus, the ancient Roman capital and an early center of Christianity, where St. Paul lived and taught for over three years.

Next, sail to Patmos, the island where St. John the Theologian was exiled. Visit the Grotto of the Apocalypse and the Monastery of St. John. Afterward, enjoy some free time in the quaint harbor of Scala.

In the morning, dock in Heraklion, Crete, where St. Paul sailed during his journey. Optionally, visit the Palace of Knossos, the center of Minoan civilization. After lunch, continue to Santorini, known as the “Black Pearl of the Aegean,” for breathtaking views and panoramic scenery.

After disembarking from the cruise, transfer to Athens Airport for your return flight, reflecting on the deeply spiritual journey you’ve experienced across Greece and Turkey.
